Created internal videos for Microsoft employees all over the world to view. Some videos include tool updates/how-to's, inspirational Vox/Vice inspired interviews, campaign videos for upcoming features, hype videos for other vendors within Microsoft. Branding and formatting each new set of videos so they feel cohesive each quarter.
Editing commercials to be released on television and social media platforms. Editing case studies to be featured on their website.
Line-up, sync, and organize footage, create bins, label all footage, and transport hard drives. Edited some trailers for upcoming music videos. Organize sound effects library. Sound design.
Restocking, hard drive deliveries, grocery store runs, general management of office, answering phone calls, meal preparation for clients and employees, and assisting the editors when they need it.
Shadowing assistant editors while they ingest and transcode footage, export and upload daily cuts, communicate with producers and editors, and prepare for final edits. Hands on experience with syncing and grouping clips in Avid, prepping for mix, online, and color, comping, and replacing green screens.
Client service duties such as assisting clients, tidying bays, and restocking. Shadowing the vault while they check hard drives in and out, job archiving, and keeping the current jobs board updated. Hands on experience prepping and posting, pulling sound effects, and breaking down footage.
Shadowing assistant editors while they worked in Avid, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Interdubs. Learned how to load and organize footage for editors and search for music and sound effects. Began to create my own Avid keyboard.

Edited footage together into cohesive commercials for small businesses in the Pasadena area. Went to festivals and interviewed artists who shared their stories and passion for art that I edited together to create mini advertisements for them.

Judge for NW High School Film Festival for PSA/anti-ad category. Thoroughly watched every film entry submitted by high school participants, rated, and met with a fellow judge to choose winners for our category.
Judge for Puget Sound All Girls film festival. Watched every film entry submitted by participating girls in high school, rated, and gave helpful critiques to each of their films.
Helped set up and host Ladies in Mograph at Brand New School, then participated in networking with women in the motion graphics industry.
